Window tint

Cooler, more private, legal

How long 3 to 4 hours

Tint is fitted from the inside, so the film never faces the weather. We cut and shrink each piece to the curve of the glass with a heat gun, then lay it with slip solution and squeeze out every drop.

Ceramic film costs a little more than dyed film, but it doesn’t fade purple, doesn’t interfere with phone signal or keyless entry, and keeps the cabin noticeably cooler in summer.

Questions

Can you tint the front windows?

No: the law sets a minimum light through the windscreen and front side windows, and we keep to it.

Can I wind the windows down straight away?

Wait three days while the film cures. You may see a little haze for a week; it clears on its own.
